In response to customer requests for the ability to run Salvo on x86 architectures for the purposes of simulating Salvo on other target architectures, Salvo for x86 is now available. Microsoft's ubiquitous Visual C/C++ compiler is supported. This latest release of Salvo (4.2.2) has enhanced compatibility with C++ as well. |

Salvo 4.2.0 is now available for all current Salvo 4 releases -- AVR, PIC24/dsPIC, MSP430, PIC32 and Epson S1C17. Apart from a variety of housekeeping issues, 4.2.0 includes a fix to cyclic timers (they can now be stopped from within the cyclic timer itself), C++ compatibility, and Salvo tiny libraries have been added to Salvo for AVR for use with ICCV7AVR. The Salvo 4.2.0 installers correctly update shared Salvo files, so that previous versions need not be manually uninstalled. |
