Salvo Lite contains demo, example and tutorial programs, and freeware libraries. It has all of the basic Salvo functionality, but is limited to a small number of tasks and events, etc. (typically 3 tasks and 5 events). The Salvo installer works on Windows 95 / 98 / NT / 2000 / XP / Vista / Windows 7 systems. If you are running Linux or another operating system that does not provide Windows emulation to run the installer, download the User Manual first and see the relevant section in the Installation chapter.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of 2024, Pumpkin currently only supports Salvo on Microchip PIC24 and dsPIC33 platforms. If/where possible, Pumpkin will provide support to existing users on other platforms. Support is limited to the particular platforms (especially compiler versions and IDEs) that are listed in each distribution's version notes.
